I have a new dog and I want to know if the ukc papers are real. Because so many people are giving fake UKC documents, what can I see in the newspapers to tell me that they are real?

You can ask if mom and dad are registered with them.

Give the dog the name and registration number listed on your document.

DNA testing is fine, but it only makes sense if the father and mother's DNA profiles are recorded or all three are tested.

Paper may be real, but people often use paper from other dogs. The UKC has a VIP DNA program. Call them and they'll check to see if the letters really belong to the dog.
Search the UKC website and contact customer service. They can tell you for sure.
