Definition of Investment proposal:

1. Document prepared by the sponsor of a new investment project, or the management of an existing firm, for prospective investors and/or lenders. It details the (1) nature of the project or business, (2) its history (if any), (3) growth potential, (4) objectives and the amount of finance required to realize them, (5) promised collateral or security, and (6) a plan for timely repayment of interest and principal.
